Standby Battery Life: 2x512MB or 1x1GB RAM?

Hi,

I have 2 sticks of 512, and 1 stick of 1024 MB of RAM for my T42. Does it matter which I use? Do 2 sticks use more energy fom my battery in standby?

Every stick of Ram uses the same amount of energy, so the two sticks consume twice the energy the 1gb will use.
