Choices, choices, choices - R51 or T41?

Hey all,

Maybe I'm setting myself up by posting in the T Series forum, but this seems to get the most traffic, which itself may be a sign.

I'm looking at my first laptop. All literature (forums, reviews, etc) seem to point to ThinkPads as the choice for the pros.

A little background on how it'll be used; I'm selling my desktops off to whomever I can find while I go to South Korea; so this laptop is it for a while. I'm a programmer, so take what you will from that. VS.net, Eclipse, etc will be the major apps - with web server & databases usually running during development; maybe a map server at times.
