T4x warranty issues

I had some problem with my battery and IBM sent me a refurbed battery to replace the old battery.

Questions:

* Is it normal to get refurbed parts?

* They had asked me to return teh part within 30days or get charged. I noticed it yesterday and its been more than 30 days and I cant find any DHL sticker (apparently there should have been one). I havent got any letters saying I have been charged. Does anyone have experience with this?

I have requested service before. And they sent me one DHL box to return my laptop. I found the return mail tab in the box. You just only need peel down the label they used. Then you will see the return label for you. After 30 days I haven't sent my laptop. It would be ok. And I cancled the request.

In my case, they sent me the replacement product but I havent sent them the faulty product. And I cant seem to find the label.

So you had better call them. They should send you one box to return your battery.

Sometimes the box they send can have a peel off label, that reveals a return label under it. I'd check for that.

There should be a return label in the box. BTW I think they should not send a refurbished battery to you, since your machine is brand new. You can call them.

IIRC anything from support (after 30 days) can be used or refurbished.
