Li-ion battery type for a 570E

#1 Post by flyboy320 » Mon Nov 28, 2005 9:41 pm

I have seen some topics about changing the li-ion batteries inside laptop battery packs when the cells have become worn out. I was thinking of doing this myself, so I was wondering if anyone else has done this for a 570E battery pack, and if so what type/serial number are the individual li-ion cells in the battery pack?

Wouldn't recommend it, considerable danger of damage/explosion when you are soldering. People doing this for a living wear protection. I sent an old pack off to batteryrefill.com and while their customer service skills are poor, the battery did come back and works well.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
