That "ultranav dead pixel" came back!

And indeed mousing over it caused the cursor to change to the scroll slider icon. It freaked me out for a second but I hit the 3rd mouse button and exorcised it.

What the heck is that thing, anyways?

Well, the thing is it's not a dead pixel. Something in software puts a single white always-on-top pixel in the middle of the screen, and middle-clicking it makes it go away. Very weird. If only real dead pixels could be handled this way!
