[R52] h-sync and v-sync??

#1 Post by fabian-k » Wed Nov 30, 2005 8:43 am

Hi,

I want to install Linux SuSe 9.3 on my R52 (1680-5EG).

I got a lot of problems while installing the Display,
now I'll need the vertical and horizontal sync-ranges and the x/y screen size.

Thanks.
Fabian

You cannot use the default VGA resolutions? Strange, strange ...
Maybe try this tool and shoot for a hrefresh of some 60Hz.
What do You mean by screen size? Resolution? Check the specs. Physical size? Get out a ruler ...

So do I. Do report back here when it works, will You? I'm still dithering over why the standard VGA-modes don't work out for You ... it's been *quite* a while since I last had to write a 'real' ModeLine from scratch.
