Thinkpad 600X dismantling

#1 Post by uncle_geoff » Wed Nov 30, 2005 2:24 pm

Dismantling a Thinkpad 600X 2645 PIII 500. Mobo dead, keyboard had a drink
of tea .... when checked out, the onboard voltage controller MAX1632EAI
found to be blown.
However the following parts are available and believed to be in working
order (they were until the tea incident).

CPU and Fan housing, PIII 500mhz.
Screen complete with connections and plastics. No dead pixels or bright
spots.
HDD Caddy (no HDD).
PCMCIA Holder
Spare Inverter for screen.
Internal Modem.
CD Drive, FRU 27L3687
3 x Lion batteries, none hold much of a charge.

Offers to geoff dot hamilton1 at ntlworld.com
location : Chigwell UK.
