wonder if its just my setup, but with my t43 (26684EU) you can feel electricity on the fingerprint reader, on the fan 'grid' and cardbus slots, and also on the front bottom speakers (if those are speakers i'm not sure

well, I could live with most of it, but the fingerprint reader is seriously annoying, as you cant rest your palm on it when you type

with the fresh thinkpad.fan.control utility, it seems to go away, when the fan is off (almost, not entirely)

highly unlikely that it IS electricity, per se..
possible static electricity..?

try wiping the case with a slightly damp cloth..
just damp and not wet..

ground yourself..
make sure the AC socket the AC adapter is plugged into is grounded..
