Is there an app that can do this?

Looking for a piece of software that can set the laptop onto multiple charge/dischage cycles...

if you want software that will discharge and recharge the battery, then it already comes with your thinpad. just go into the thinkpad config (under control panel) and go to the battery maximizer then click recover battery (or something like that) and it will do it for you

My T41p doesn't seem to have that option

sorry, i was a little off on my directions. once youre in the thinpad config, go to battery information (little yellow battery icon in top right) then click battery health, and then click improve battery health. that should do it :)

Strange, in the dialog window of "Battery health", I only have the "Tips" button (along with OK and cancel)...don't see any "improve battery health". :cry:

This option is only on X40s, T42s and R51s...
