Yesterday my factory refurbished x22 came in the mail. I have never owned a thinkpad but have had a ton of laptops. I LOVE this thing. It is so small, rugged, and overall awesome. I bought it as a portable internet/work computer that I don't have to worry about traveling with.
Heck, I'm using this more than my A64/1gb/6800gt primary system.
Overall, great notebook in my opinion. It runs surprisingly well with XP pro. I will probably upgrade to 640mb ram sometime in the future.
I just picked myself up a refurbished x22...

i bought my x22 earlier this year and it works good for me also.
i keep getting tempted to order a x31 but i know that because i'm still a student the more fiscally sound option for me is to stick with my x22.
my x22 came with 384mb of ram and it works well with winxp. i looked into upgrading to 640mb but that looks to be expensive too so i will stick with my 384mb. i did get a new hard drive however since my old one was making whining noises and i also bought a new battery. overall im pretty happy with my setup and considering it cost about the same amount as my cell phone i have no major complaints.
ps i use my home computer more than my x22 while im at home since it's hooked up to a 19 inch lcd.
