Please Please help me with my R31

#1 Post by mickey6 » Wed Dec 07, 2005 7:29 am

My R31 all of a sudden refuses to boot. The little white LED on top of the LCD screen comes on when I press the power button but nothing else )no POST no lights nothing). I have tried reseating the RAM, tried it with and without the power adaptor and the battery, without the HDD but no go.

The CMOS battery still shows 3.x volts using the volt meter when I tested. Any pointer will be greatly appreciated. What else do I need to check?

Thanks.

Mickey

Have you tried using AC power without the main battery attached?

Yes I have. The little white LED would come on if I hit the power switch but no boot.
