Looking for a 770e keyboard,cdrom

#1 Post by scrible88 » Thu Dec 08, 2005 1:56 pm

I am looking for a working keyboard that will fit a 770e. Anybody have one they are willing to part with? I do not have an ebay account so that is not an option. I am located in Wellington, Kansas and can mail the $$.

I am also looking for a cd-rom module... just realized this only has a floppy drive.

You're probably the only person in Kansas thats not on eBay. If you dont have an eBay account, get one. Plain 770 keyboards can be found for under $10. Even a true -E kb has an eBay BuyItNow price of $20.

I could mail anyone shipping for one of these. I am really needing one, the only think keeping my 770 from working. Don't want to use ebay.

How much for the password locked 770Es, and what do they include as I don't really want to scrounge up AC adapters, drives, caddies, covers, etc. off eBay as shipping ends up being a killer? How much for working batteries?

I'll look when I get home Sunday. I've likely got an extra you can have for $10. I don't know if I have a "true" 770E keyboard though, don't know what the difference is unless it's in the markings on some of the function keys. I've never paid any attention and have swapped them at will between 770s, 770Es and 770EDs. The bezels are different, with the E and ED being larger and having E and ED on the label in the upper right corner next to the 770.
