UNADVERTISED PNY "GIFT"

PNY is running an unadvertised special effective until 12-31-2005. Inside their notebook memory module packaging, there is a card giving the bearer a "free" copy of System Mechanic 5. The card says you get version 5 download free or you can order (for $10 S\H) the CD.

When I went to check this out today (Sys Mech 5 costs $49 download, $59 for the CD version), I found the offer changed. You get the newly released Ver 6 but you can only get the CD version but for $20 you can order 6 Pro, which is $69 for download, $79 for CD. This is even a better deal than a free download of Ver 5.

I was a die hard Norton Utilities user until this year. I agree with the testers. Norton's dominance is over. System Mechanic is now the top PC utilities publisher (iolo company).

Do not throw out the packaging until you order your free System Mechanic. You need the PNY part number.
