underclock the video card while plugged in to AC

when i have the T42 plugged in, it runs the vid card at max setting, but the trouble is that i get this warm feeling under the right palmrest, and i'm wondering how to make powerplay underclock the video card while being plugged in.

Well under the right palmrest is the hard drive not the graphics card.
If you use the omega drivers you can underclock the GPU when on AC however.
