That is strange... who buys internal DVD-RW writers when we do not know to which laptops it will fit?
X220t IPS but but a bit unhappy with it
T60p 2007-93U 1600x1200 IPS (T42p is an overall better machine though. Lack of new IPS Thinkpads keeps me buying these older models!)
T42p 2373-KXU 1600x1200 IPS (The best ever!!)
A20p 2629-6UU 1400x1050 (My first Thinkpad!)

No, it won't work because it won't fit in the new 9.5mm high Ultrabay Slim.plucky duck wrote:Do you think it will work?

It would however fit in older T/A/X series machines with an Ultrabahy 2000.

LOL... definately the Ultrabay...... the Ultrabay Slim is more of a Kookaburra than a Partridge..... and it prefers Euculypts.ian wrote:Dave
With regard to the Pear Tree - does it take the Ultrabay or Ultrabay Slim Partridge?

Heh.
Hah. I just realized why I kept getting so confused every time I read "UltraBay Slim" on this forum.
The UltraBay Slim. Not to be confused with the UltraSlimBay in the ThinkPad 600s.
So we now have the UltraBay (760), the UltraBay II (770), the UltraSlimBay (600), the UltraBay 2000 (various), and now the UltraBay Slim (T4x).
...who comes up with these names?!
I think they are going to start running out of variations soon.
