Nec 6650 dual layered dvd writer in 600x

I just replaced my cd-rom in my 600x with a nec 6650 dvd burner. Everything fits fine and the drive works great. The pronblem I'm having is removing the faceplate of the nec 6650 dvd burner. I've already removed the faceplate off the old cd-rom with no problem, but cannot figure out how to get the faceplate of the nec drive. What I'm trying to do is achieve a perfect fit and eliminate the gap that was created by installing the new drive. If anyone has bought this drive and attempted to upgrade the faceplate your help would be greatly appreciated So far I've upgraded the processor to 850mhz, the hard drive to 40 gig and maxed out the memory. - Marvin
