Change SD card drive letter in X40?
Change SD card drive letter in X40?
How can I permamently change or assign a different drive letter to the sd card/slot? Everytime I stick in a card it comes up as the next drive letter E:, I need it to come as G: or something.

Re: same here
I figured it out, you need to insert the card, run regedit and goto something like HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices and simply rename the \DosDevices\X: for the currently inserted drive to another letter. Don't change the actual key data though, just rename it.lewislin wrote:I have the same issue. Normally usb thumbdrive or card reader will show up in the computer management but not the SD reader in X41.
Try that for now.
