T42 Cursor bug with new ATI FireGL driver!!

Hoping someone can help me out with this.

I usually run the Active Think theme with the active desktop wallpaper. I just upgraded my video driver from the IBM site (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-41918) and now there is a cursor bug!

When I try to drag the mouse on the desktop to select multiple icons, the selection box disappears after a split-second (I believe this is related to the rate of update for the active desktop theme selected) and none of the icons highlight until I let go of the mouse button. I then tried to reload the video driver from AccessIBM but the problem still happens.

This only happens on Active Desktop themes, everything seems OK with static backgrounds.

Any help?
