need help for hard drive

hi guys. i am looking for a 2nd HDD for my tp. (ultra bay)
what kind of hard drive should i pick? i found a ton of wed sites that selling laptop HDD, but it seens different manufacturer using different hard drive, is it correct? For example, you need to choose what kind of laptop are you using before they show their product.

Probably the primary reason is that some laptops require smaller than standard (laptop) hard drives. Older laptops don't support high capacities Gb wise. The newest laptops use a SATA interface as opposed to a PATA interface.

All in all, I guess they don't want to see any comebacks.
