Remove Verizon WAN??

#1 Post by roadwarrior » Sun Dec 25, 2005 5:40 pm

Hi,

I was wondering how one could disable the WAN Verizon wireless modem? I can turn it off from the ThinkVantage program, but when I boot up, it turns back on again. This happens even if I disable it from the System menu. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

While I don't have the Verizon wireless WAN, it has been my experience that you can disable any network connection by going to Network Connections, right-click on the network you want to disable, and choose disable.

You can get to Network Connections by going to the Start menu and choosing: Connect to, or you can get there by going to: Start > Control Panel > Network Connections.
