SLOW Z60t after buying it new!

My Z60t seems REALLY slow after I bought it new from IBM. Its the top of the line version too.. When I checked out the progrma manager, I noticed that the "logmon.exe" program was hogging up all of the resources. After shutting it down, the system went back to normal. Any ideas on what this program might be??
