Leather cover for Transnote?

The Endurimer case on my TransNote is pretty scruffy and I've found a place that sells the leather case for a reasonable price. I've never seen the leather-covered versions. Has anyone compared the two? How are they?

Is it possible to install an LCD rear cover and upper case, both with IBM logo, to a X61 7674 (not tablet)?
