Need RAM help for an X22, pls.

#1 Post by silo » Tue Dec 27, 2005 2:12 am

I bought an X22 off eBay and am looking for some extra ram to max it out. Crucial has a 512 stick for $129 http://tinyurl.com/drogd but I'm wondering if there are better/cheaper places to buy. I don't really know yet whether the one I bought is a model 2660 or 2662. If it's the 2660 apparently it cannot take a 512 mem stick?

Thanks for insight.

They all take the same memory.
"An atheist is just somebody who feels about Yahweh the way any decent Christian feels about Thor or Baal or the golden calf. As has been said before, we are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."

Yep, I got these specs:
SDRAM PC133 CL=3 Non Parity 133MHz 3.3V 64x64

So I ordered this part from Eggnog
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820155103

I figure the chances are 50/50 it'll work. If somebody already knows it won't, pls say so and I won't bother open it when it arrives.

Cheers--
