I have resolved all my Bluetooth problems save one. I have a brand-X bluetooth headphone and it's paired properly and works when I power it on and select Connect from the Bluetooth desktop icon.
The one remaining problem is that it is configured to autostart but does not do so properly. If the Bluetooth radio is on and I power up the headset, after about 15 seconds the device icon in the Bluetooth icon will show "connected" without my taking any action. But after about 5 seconds is disconnects by itself. There is no Connection request tone in the headphones as there is with the manual connection so there is nothing to do on that end.
I'm curious if anyone has this autostart function working properly?
