ThinkPad 570 for Wifi

#1 Post by red5torm » Wed Dec 28, 2005 10:07 am

Greetings!

Has anyone used a TP 570 for WiFi? I understand that it has no built in WiFi and/or LAN, so the option is to use a PCMCIA WiFi card. But has anyone tested how long would the battery last using a WiFi card?

Hi,
I have just commisioned a 570, it came with a non warranted battery which I duly charged to full. running win 2k & pcmcia wifi on my home network. I have literaly just finished a run flat test whilst wifi'ing The result seemed good to me .I clocked 3 hours with no drive or display batt saving.
