I have set up 2 location profiles in Access Connections; one for my home and another for work (university).
I always thought that Access Connections automatically switches to the wireless access point providing the strongest link, but it does not do that. Is there a way I can get it to use the access point providing the strongest signal automatically without me having to click "Find Wireless networks" every time to connect to the strongest one?
Throughout the campus, the wireless networks have the same SSID, but are on different channels. Could this be the root cause?
Access Connections Automation question?

Re: Access Connections Automation question?
I think so. I don't have (hardly) any problem with automatic switching. Once in while I have to connect manually, but 95 percent of the time, the connection is automatic.cerebral_mamba wrote: Throughout the campus, the wireless networks have the same SSID, but are on different channels.
