Why so many bidders for beat up 390E?

Why so many bidders for beat up 390E?

770 E's with few issues get yawns, while I see a 390E with a broken hinge, no ram, no hdd, missing keys etc etc has many bidders. Is it because this model is still desireable and parts hard to get ? Or what ?
