Is logmon.exe file of ThinkVantage spyware or EBlaster 5.0?
I've got a X40 with XP Pro SP2
Just recently I upgraded the “ThinkVantage Productivity Center.” It used to be green and black icons, now its all red icons. Ever since this upgrade, there is a new file that gets loaded during the system startup, called logmon.exe. It's located at:
c:\Program Files\IBM ThinkVantage\Common\Logger\logmon.exe
Just today i found out it was using the CPU quite a bit, so I looked up online what this logmon.exe file is; and mostly they says is spyware or Eblaster 5.0.
Is this true? Do you guys have this file also, is this something specific to IBM ThinkVantage suite of programs?
Thanks
