SD Card is not accessable on x41

hi,

i just bought a lovely thinkpad x41. but i wonder how to use the sd card reader on the left side above the irport... i plugged in a mmc from my nokia 6230 but there is no extra drive to access the mmc card in the explorer.

do i need to install additional software? i dont think so as ibm shipps a lot of nice programms to use all of the thinkpad's functions except the sdcard...

AFAIK, there is no extra required software to run the SD card slot. I've used a friend's SD card in my X41 in the past and there was no problem. Perhaps try holding the card in and seeing if it shows up. I remember this being a problem with someone else's SD Card slot.

i got response from the ibm support. the older sd-card-version mmc is not supported
