Where to get a new eeprom?

#1 Post by Zak » Wed Jan 04, 2006 12:14 pm

I now have two T20 system boards with bad eeproms. One gives me error 0175, the other displays a blank screen on boot. Switching the eeproms between the boards switches the symptoms so I'm reasonably certain they're both bad. I would like to replace them, rather than throw away the boards. Is there a place to buy a pre-programmed replacement Atmel 24RF08?

I wonder if your problem was caused by THIS?

As for finding a preprogrammed EEPROM, you might check with vendors on eBay such as THIS ONE.

Good guess on the lm_sensors, but no, I haven't installed it at any point. Thanks for the ebay link - that's cheaper than a new board, by far.
