Thinkpad 390E cpu/ram upgrades - again

I've already asked this but 0 replies- here's the quick version

What's the fastest cpu I can put in a 390E - am I limited to the PII/400mhz or can I put a Mobile Celeron 500mhz chip in this machine.

Also is there any way to put more than 256MB ram into a 390E?
