Questions about Thinkpad Z60m

I finally made up my mind to buy my first ibm notebook!

I will order either thinkpad z60m 252902u or 252904u.

Before i do i want to ask a couple of questions.

I know that the 8x dvd recordable that comes with these models can't write on Dual Layer discs. I want to know if it can read them. I have a desktop with a dvd dual layer burner and it would be nice if the dual layer movie discs i burned can be read on my new notebook.

And last which is better to get: 1) Ati radeon x300 or 2)Intel integrated graphics 900?

The radeon x300 is FAR superior in performance to the 900. The one with the x300 will have a titanium cover, the one with intel video will have a black cover.
