Z60m Dimensions & DVD Recordable

I visited a lot of different web pages and all of them had different dimensions for Z60m. I ordered Z60m 252904U and it says on the levono site that is 1.5 inches in height. I am concerned since all the reviews that i read said that this model is bulky. What is considered to be thin? I don't want an ultraportable that is less than 1" but i would like to know if there is a lot of difference from same specs models from other companies (1.7Ghz, 15.4" display, DVD-RW)

Anyone knows what dvd recorder model levono uses on the z60m?
Can it read dual layer discs because i read somewhere that it can't burn such discs?

The height differences is because some of the Z60Ms come with Titanium covers.
On my Z60M, the screen+the Titanium top, is thicker than the rest of the system!
