motherboard for thinkpad 600

#1 Post by bub » Sun Jan 08, 2006 8:04 pm

I have a thinkpad 600-45u. I got an error 175 and was told it was a mother board problem and I need a new motherboard. my question is do I need to get a motherboard with part number 1293224 which is what I have or can I get just any as long as it is for a 600-45u? Or any 600 model for that matter?

AFAIK, the main thing is to get a motherboard that supports the same-size LCD, as the LCD ribbon cable connector is different. I am not sure what the difference is between the two 13.3" LCD model System Boards. Google the part numbers below and you should find the correct board.
