A22e: What's the biggest hard drive that will work?

#1 Post by trax » Tue Jan 10, 2006 10:50 pm

I don't follow laptops too closely so you'll have to excuse this question. I'm using an old 12 GB HD in my A22e, and between the small drive size and the max of 256 MB of RAM, it's getting bogged down SEVERLY with standard apps like Photoshop CS2.

What's the biggest drive I can stuff into this thing? I could buy a T43, but I don't think it would be a wise investment since I'm still in school.

Thanks

I had an A22e with a 30Gb drive which I sold. Some years later the drive failed. I replaced it with a 40Gb drive no problems. I suspect you can go larger, but at least a 40Gb is a known good replacment. ... JD Hurst
