x40 shared video memory increase

anyone know how i can increase the memory of the video card. nothing in the bios allows to specify the amount i want to allocate. i can still play age of empires 3, but i hate the warning that i need more video mem and an increase would probably smooth things out of the sea battles. i have 1Gb memory installed.
thinkpad x40, type:2372-9EU, (2x) 512MB, 40GB HD (4200rpm), 802.11abg, CDC bluetooth

thinkpad x60s, type:1702-94U, (2X) 512MB, 40GB HD (5400rpm), 802.11abg, Ultralight LCD.
