X24 hotswaps

New to the X24 and setting up the Lady Love's new machine.

Can it be attached/detached from the base while it's running or must it be shut down?

What about network attachments---can I plug in the network cable while the machine is up or does it have to be shut down?

Other hot/warm swap issues?

TNX for any help---the on-line stuff doesn't seem to deal with such mundanity.

Well.. its all in the manual. (yes all, and the network stuff is like 5 sec on google)

But since I am in a good mood: if the dock supports hot undocking, yes you can.

The dock of my X31 has a handle and a blue button, first I need to press the button (the laptops begins undocking) and when it’s done I pull the handle. (and the laptop is then undocked)



You also could just use the undock option in Windows xp
