Modem and 760XD

#1 Post by leighv » Mon Jan 16, 2006 8:53 am

I am not sure whether I can post this here - but here goes...

I have an old 760XD that I am using as a print server (I have an old printer than does not have a network card/usb/etc. I would also like to use it to monitor incoming calls so that I can do a caller id and network the number to all PC's on the network. I have the sw to do this - but am having problems getting the caller id. I have a Agere '97 modem. Is called id based upon the driver? How can I find out whether this modem supports caller id?? Many thanks.
