slow HDD

Hi folks,

I am using a X21 and I have compared the wake up from hibernate state with a X22.
The X22 is much faster, because the HDD is running in DMA mode 5.
The X21 is runnig in DMA mode 2.
wakeup time:
X22 20 sec
X21 50 sec

The HDD is a new Samsung 80MB.
Does anybody has an idea, if the X21 is able to upgrade the DMA-mode.
The I/O Controller is an Intel 82371AB/EB but I can not find further specs on the Intel side.
@X21 ownwer: Could verify in which DMA-mode is your HDD is running and report your result.
