Warning about clean Windows install on Z60T.

If you decide to do a clean Windows install on a Z60T, you'll need an audio driver that you have to call microsoft to get. It's Q888111.

call microsoft? cant we download it from somewhere?

Probably no need to call MS or download anything if you still have the \IBMTools folder. Just search that folder for 888111. I found 888111GR.exe (i.e. the German version) in several subfolders and used the one in \IBMTOOLS\drivers\UAAHDAXP\XPSP2. After that the installation of the SoundMax drivers wasn't a problem.

Why that stuff isn't installed automatically is beyond me, though... :roll:

I should have checked for it manually, but I wasn't sure what to look for. I used "Software installer", and it didn't find the driver.
