LEAP authentication problem with Access Connections

I'm trying to use LEAP authenticaion, but the option of "use temporary user name and password" is grayed out. Can anyone help me on this matter? Thanks.

What version of AC are you running?
What O/S & service pack level?
What network card & firmware?

I'm not sure I can help, but I would need at least the above to even start.
