I have the X22 with 540MB ram and 800 MHz CPU and 40G 5400RPM hard drive. It's pretty quick.
I was wondering which of currently available (used or new) X-series are the fastest operational notebooks. Assume a 60G 7200 drive and max memory. Would that be the X31/32?
With what model did they start using the smaller (and slower) drives?
Finally, is the external video so limited on these models that it would be foolish to try to set up a "high powered" X-series to use as laptop on road and as basic desktop machine at home (with external keyboard, LCD, mouse, printer, etc)?
Thanks for all help.
Fastest X-series notebook?
Re: Fastest X-series notebook?
That would be the X32. I believe the fastest version available was the 2.0 GHz Dothan CPU version.
