is there any hidden microphone in Thinkpads?

i just notice that when i record a sound and forgot plugg the microphone, i still can recieve the sounds. so it should be a hidden mic somewhere...?

On my T42, it is the two little holes just above the ESC key.

so if that hole is the mic, why don't they tell us that? then i don't have to buy a new mic :D

Well- My access connections button is "disabled" since I do not have an IBM image/load! <aki...hint...hint!!!

Yet another case of RTFM! :D amazing how much equipment fails because of this little problem.

See if "C:\Program Files\IBM\Access IBM\aibm.exe" happens to be available to you (probably not). ... JD Hurst

She has seen it and is warning everyone to trim their quotes lest their messages fall victim to an untimely fate. Quoting messages within messages within messages only to add a single line of text is... a waste of space.
