PCMCIA cover part fell off on my T43

I had this problem and got IBM to fix onsite. I delayed for a while, though, thinking it wasn't a big deal. When they eventually fixed it, there was a ton of dust on my system board. Moral: don't delay in getting the cover fixed -- it is much more than just cosmetic.

Mine fell off too..never had one fall off on a TP before...since the cover is one piece...it looks like a HUGE hole on the side of the lappy! It is out for repair (other problems) I am hopefull they will fix this as well.
