Vulnerability in IBM Windows XP default hidden Administrator account allows local Administrator access
http://www.secnap.com/alerts.php?pg=5
Serious IBM Windows XP vulnerability ?
I think somewhere we may have discussed this. Since my first XP ThinkPad (X22 some time ago) I observed that you had to login as administrator and set a password. It is not particularly hidden. What is unique to IBM (so far as I can see) is that the first user assigned is also the owner-administrator user and that is separate from administrator.
