Got a 770ED with a bad battery - but otherwise pretty good machine. Looking to install Linux on it just for fun.
I have a bootable CD that in other machines upon reboot, will start the installation process on the machine. Unfortunately, I can't recall how to set the 770 so it looks to the DVD / CD player first on reboot. Normally this is either an F12 on newer machines or some setting in BIOS - but I can't recall how to get into the BIOS on this machine.
I've checked the user manual on the IBM site - but no luck. Can some refresh my memory please?
Thanks
