FYI - 9 Cell battery NEW Cheap on EBay--- $65 plus s/h BK ON

#1 Post by draco2527 » Sun Jan 22, 2006 10:28 pm

FYI!

I have no relation to this listing, I am about to purchase one; based on his feedback (all private, but if you read...people got the batteries)!

$65 PLUS minimal S/H!

If anyone buys, post the results here...

On a side note, I have watched 4 of his auctions (he always starts with 10/auction); he seems to post once a week (posts on fridays, end on sunday) and then ship during that week.

The auction number is 6841704173 an ends in 2 hours!

good luck....

EDIT!!!!

I forgot to mention the important part, they are listed as the "new" 7200 mah batteries

I've bought a 6-cell (OEM and new) from him about 5 months ago. Delivered quickly.

Was it genuine OEM?

I only ask because this price is literally half what i can get with the IBM/Lenovo EPP discount... I don't see how its possible to get a geniune IBM battery that cheap...

Yes, it is genuine OEM. I've also gotten some genuine OEM batteries from other sellers for about the same price. You just have to be careful to sort through the listings.

I bought a 9 cell from him and was so pleased that I bought a 6 cell (he has them for $55 shipped). both are the newer T43 batteries with higher capacity and my T42p will now play DVD's on my entire flight to Korea next month, including layovers.

Why don't you make a stop in Bucharest, in your flight to Korea? Of course, you'll get an additional battery for me, I'm gonna get you a lot of beer :)

Anyway, is there any chance someone to come in Romania soon? That guy ships only to U.S.

i asked him abt shipping to UK. it costs US$30 for shipping to the UK..

that makes it US$95 in total for it.. do u all think its still worth it?

I'd say its worth it as its still half of the Lenovo price in the US, and these are the higher capacity T43 batteries.

No go on Romania, I fly across the Pacific.

If you go and grab the auction number from the very first post in this thread and plug it into eBay's search page you will find this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6841704173

The seller ID is "taoyi" and he does not appear to have any at the moment.
