Anyone with a PCI graphics card in their X3 dock II?

I saw from reading past posts that there was a fair amout of talk about installing a half height PCI graphics card in a Dock II to improve graphics for games. I never expected to play games on my X31 but I am wondering if people that did this saw an improvement in graphics and how much was it? I could not find anyone that posted back with comments on the project so I am assuming the statement below holds true.
