DC Adapater/Car Adapter

Does anyone know if T42 Car Adapters work with T43's? I want to stick it in my car as my music player and i don't want to use an inverter. My friend is going to bring me his soon and I want to know if i can really use it.

The specs don't say they don't work, so I can only assume they do.
I've used the car adaptor my dad got for his T22 with my T42 and it worked fine.
