IBM logo in system properties

#1 Post by icantux » Fri Jan 27, 2006 11:13 am

Hi all,

I just recently reformated my T42 and installed XP with slipstreamed SP2 but I can't get the OEMLOGO.GI_ to extract from the i386 folder (that's the IBM logo in "system properties"). Can someone send me their OEMLOGO.BMP found in c:/windows/system32 please?

email: --> icantux at gmail.com

Thanks in advance!

Ok thanks to all that replied. Got the logo ... my T42 is happy once again! :P

if anyone else needs it you can find it --> HERE <-- just rename the file to OEMLOGO.BMP and stick it in your c:\windows\system32 directory (keep in mind you still need an oeminfo.ini file for the logo to be visible.
